There’s no appetizer so mouth-watering as a good cheeseboard. There’s a pleasure to timeless foods—meat, cheeses, fruits and grains—spread out like a savory work of art. These morsels combine in endless ways—do you want cheese and crackers? Crackers and meat? Cheese and fruit? Do you want to stack one of everything into a giant charcuterie sandwich? 

But the real question is: can you make a good cheeseboard? The party is barely an hour from now! You have the ingredients, but they still need to be cut and served. It’s time to find out if you’ve got the chops to make a cheeseboard deluxe. 

Cheeseboard Deluxe is a printable roll-and-write board game in the style of other classic roll-and-writes such as Railroad Inc.

Your goal in Cheeseboard Deluxe is to build a jam-packed cheeseboard, leaving as little empty space as possible. Each round, you’ll draw shapes representing foods onto each of your cutting boards. When you can’t draw another shape onto a cutting board, that board is done, and when every board is done, the game is over. The number of empty spaces remaining becomes your score. The more spaces you manage to fill in, the lower your score—and the better!
